Our company tried many different mechanical companies for our residential and commercial buildings. Unfortunately, none of them were performing to our satisfaction. Whether it was a lack of communication or competence, the different... Building Managers and myself were left wondering if the work was performed to our satisfaction and because of our lack of knowledge in the area, had to rely on the fact that the equipment was working or not. We had some challenges in some buildings, too hot or too cold, units working intermittently, etc. Then, over 3 years ago, we started dealing with Haakon and what a difference it made for us. Their pro active approach is refreshing and prevents dealing with emergencies at inopportune times. Their technology allows me to look at any of our buildings to see the work that needs to be performed and when as well as the cost involved. I can also see the work that is ongoing as well as all the work that was done in the past. It is a great tool for myself and all the Building Managers. Their technicians are respectful and knowledgeable. Unlike other companies, they are empowered to quote on the spot and follow up directly with us (as opposed to going back to the office and have an office work reach out). Haakon is also very collaborative and we sit down on a yearly basis before budget time so we know what to expect in the coming year and budget accordingly. Our A/C system in our administration offices had been out of service for over 2 weeks. Once we placed the call with the friendly service staff at Haakon our technician came to our office at the promised time and was able to quickly... and efficiently diagnose the problem. Haakon has been servicing my offices for years, and they have been great to deal with. One time our AC stopped work and our office immediately felt like a hot yoga studio (17 people in one room) and a technician arrived within the... hour and saved the day. Recently we did a major upgrade to a new AC system and now have consistent AC cooling throughout the office. Scott R serviced our office today and he was great, explained why our AC was doing what it was, also left his email for us to contact him in case we had more questions after he left.
