Haakon’s comprehensive maintenance program offers our clients the peace of mind in knowing that their mechanical equipment is serviced, maintained and repaired to keep it running at optimal levels of efficiency with no unnecessary breakdowns.
Designating a Primary Technician allows us to master our customers’ commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems. Our technicians are highly trained and alert our customers of possible service issues before they arise, allowing them to make informed decisions about proactive service options.
Detailed Equipment Assessments & Repair Quotes
Our maintenance philosophy is to keep equipment operating in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. When equipment is found to not be running to spec, our technicians provide an itemized quote, including an assessment of the urgency of the repair. We provide specific details of the problem, the possible cause, the consequences of delayed action, the solution and parts availability.
Quality Maintenance Inspections
The quality of our maintenance inspections keeps equipment operating smoothly and helps avoid costly breakdowns. Haakon technicians are trained to prioritize maintenance protocols to minimize equipment breakdowns while maximizing equipment longevity.
ServAce System for Web-based Reporting
All of our technicians are equipped with smartphones to enter reports into our ServAce information system in real-time. Reports can be automatically emailed to our clients immediately upon completion of maintenance and repair work.
We track all work performed on every piece of equipment and maintain maintenance and repair histories that are available to our employees and clients alike. Clients are given a user ID and password to log into our ServAce system for access to our database including equipment lists and maintenance and repair histories.
1StepAhead
Our 1StepAhead, pro-active philosophy is to bring issues to our clients’ attention. These issues may include simple repairs, identifying units that are currently operating but nearing the end of their lifespan or suggesting energy-efficient upgrades that may provide significant cost savings.
As part of this strategy, we like to have an annual “Budget Analysis” meeting, during which we go over mechanical equipment, discuss how it is operating and how many more years you can expect it to perform optimally. We help our client’s budget for one, two and five years down the road.
